Burglar makes off with cash following Naxxar hold-up
Burglars made off with an undisclosed sum of money they stole during a hold-up in Naxxar
Three people were in the establishment at the time of the robbery, but no injuries were reported
Two burglars made off with an undisclosed sum of money they stole during a hold-up in Naxxar.
According to police, armed and hooded men stormed into the establishment on 21st September Avenue at about 12:45pm and demanded the cashier to hand over the cash.
Police could not confirm the affected establishment, but local media reported it to be Reed's Pharmacy.
Three people were in the establishment at the time of the robbery - two sales assistants, a 25-year-old Naxxar woman and a 50-year-old Attard woman, and a 49-year-old man, from Birkirkara.
No injuries were reported.
