A vehicle caught on fire, while the driver was still inside on Thursday night in Zabbar.
The incident took place at 7:10pm in Triq Villabate.
The police have said that the driver became aware of the smell of smoke, and got out of his vehicle which is when he discovered that it was on fire. The Civil Protection Department was notified and worked quickly to extinguish the flames.
At this time the cause of the fire is unknown, but the police do not suspect foul play.
No one was injured.
