Maintenance works in Burmarrad and Marsa/Hamrun By-Pass

Transport Malta has issued a statement to notify that Triq Toni Camilleri and Triq il-Witja in Burmarrad, will be closed to vehicular traffic between 20:00 and 05:30 on the nights between Monday 6th April 2015 and Thursday 9th April 2015, due to resurfacing works.

“Vehicular traffic  proceeding  from Mosta towards San Pawl il-Baħar will be diverted onto Triq il-Magħsar, Triq Papa Gwanni Pawlu II, Triq San Pawl, Triq Manwel Bonnici, Triq Ġebel Għazzara and onto Triq Burmarrad, while vehicular traffic proceeding from  San Pawl il-Baħar towards Mosta will be diverted onto Triq Burmarrad,” the statement reads.

Transport Malta also explained that the Marsa/Ħamrun By-Pass, between the Santa Venera Tunnels, l-Imrieħel Bypass and the Marsa roundabout (Sulfarini) would be closed to vehicular traffic between 21:00 and 06:00 on the nights between Monday 6th April 2015 and Friday 10th April 2015, due to resurfacing works.

Motorists were also advised to use alternative routes and to follow directional signage.
