Tremors felt in Malta with the strongest reaching 3.5 on Richter Scale

Local media reports have said that two tremors were felt on the island in the last three hours.

Although tremors were registered even yesterday, media report that the strongest tremor was felt towards 19:15 today, with people from the southern area of the island saying they felt tremors throughout the day.

The latest and strongest tremor registered 3.5 on the Richter scale but the first tremor, which occurred at around-10:42 measured 1.9 on the scale. Other tremors throughout the day were registered at 13:41 with 2.3 on the scale, at 15:13 with 2.6, and at 15:54 with 2.7.
