Valletta lost two important points as they were held to a goalless draw by Mosta.

The first half was a balanced one with neither team providing a real test for the opposing goalkeeper.

Leandro Aguirre had an effort that was blocked for a corner, while Jhonnattann da Conceicao saw his shot hitting the side netting. Santiago Malano also attempted a shot that went wide.

On the other hand, Mosta had a good chance on the 22nd minute. Ryan Camilleri failed to clear the ball, but Lucky Victor Oseghale fired wide.

Valletta took control of possession and pushed hard in the second half, but failed to create chances as Mosta’s defence remained organised to gain an important point in their race against relegation.
