BOV Premier League | Mosta 0 – Pembroke 5

In a match between two sides at the bottom of the table, Pembroke found no difficulty as they secured a 5-0 over Mosta.

Pembroke went ahead on the 23rd minute. Paltemio Barbetti sent a cross inside the penalty area that found Tonci Rodovnikovic who finished past Andreas Vella.

Artem Shaqiri’s side doubled the score three minutes later. Following a free kick, Barbetti delivered the ball towards Andrea Scozzese and the latter placed the ball past the Mosta goalkeeper.

Things went from bad to worse for Mosta on the 58th minute when Pedro Dos Santos Calcado was sent off following a foul on Zoran Levnaic.

Pembroke increased the margin of the score on the 71st minute. Kyle Frendo brought down Go Nagoka and the referee pointed towards the spot. From the eleven metres mark, Stevan Racic made no mistake.

Two minutes later, Pembroke scored again. Darren Falzon received the ball inside the penalty area and finished past Vella from close-range.

In the additional time given by the referee, Pembroke scored another goal. The ball was delivered inside the penalty area towards Adrian Borg whose effort ended up inside the net.
