Floriana went ahead on the 40th minute. Following a corner, Mario Fontanella served Arthur Henrique Oyama and the latter placed the ball past Gulio Cetrangolo.

The greens doubled their advantage on the 63rd minute. Fontanella made the most out of a mistake committed by Cetrangolo and finished inside the net.

Juninho Cabral sealed the issue for Floriana on the 80th minute. Steve Pisani delivered the ball towards the Brazilian whose shot gave Senglea’s goalkeeper no chance.
