Ħamrun Spartans bounced back from their defeat against Sliema with a 2-0 win over Naxxar Lions.

The Spartans went ahead on the 39th minute. Cristian Zaccardo sent an excellent pass towards Francisco Marino Clavero who finished behind Christoph Nicht from inside the penalty area.

Ħamrun made it 2-0 on the 64th minute. Terrence Agius served Thiago Espindola and the latter finished inside the net.
