Floriana scored the opening goal of the match on the 21st minute. Arthur Oyama’s cross was met by Lucas Vieira who headed past Jake Galea.

Sliema hit back and equalised on the 72nd minute. Frank Temille slotted the ball inside the net following a cross by Michele Sansone.
