Jogging track at Ta’ Qali national park proposed

Parks Directorate to increase recreational zones, open spaces accessible to the public

Consultations were underway with the Malta Sports Council for the development of a jogging track at the Ta’ Qali national park’s picnic area.

During the time allocated for parliamentary questions, Environment Minister Leo Brincat said that Parks Directorate was working to develop recreational zones and increase spaces accessible to the public.

The jogging track, Brincat added, would offer security and accessibility to visitors who want to walk or jog in the park.

The directorate is currently drafting the plans to be submitted for the necessary permits.
