Urban Jungle House of Sport 10k Ladies Edition to be held on Sunday

Starting and Finishing at Tigne Point, athletes will undertake one loop of 10 kilometres which will see them pass through Sliema seafront up towards St. Julian's and back.

For the first time in Malta, this race is open to ladies only and the objective behind this, is to encourage more women to take up the sport and those who might not be familiar with a race environment to get a feel of racing. Walkers are also being invited to sign up for this event.

"The feedback received has been very positive, there is a very hectic racing calendar and we felt that this race would be an excellent opportunity to reach out to more women, who might feel daunted by participating in a race", said Charlie Demanuele, Race Organiser and Director.  "Whilst males might feel left out we hope that they will come and support their wives, partners and girlfriends on the day".

Race Fee is €8 and includes a goody bag and a technical T-Shirt. Athletes are strongly encouraged to sign up as soon as possible as places are limited.  Race numbers and goody bags are to be collected on Saturday 30th January from Nike Store, Level 0, Tigne Point from 1pm - 6pm.

No Registrations will be accepted on Race Day.

In order to ensure athlete safety, parts of the course will be closed to traffic and assistance from the Police will be available throughout the duration of the race. The general public is encouraged to exercise caution on the route.
