Snooker: Alex Borg goes through to the second round of the Coral Scottish Open

The Maltese professional player is in Scotland where he is taking part in the Coral Scottish Open. This tournament is being played at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow and forms part of the Coral Home Nations Cup.

This morning, Borg won his first game after registering a 4-2 win over Womersley. He will be in action again next Wednesday against Ricky Walden.

Last week Borg was taking part in the German Masters qualifying rounds. He was eliminated in the second round after suffering a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Domenic Dale.
