The first session was all Sliema who won 4-1 with Exiles appearing slightly below par. The second session saw Exiles recover to 4-3 but three quick goals by Soler and Kallay quickly restored Sliema’s advantage.

Exiles kept the pace in the third session winning 5-4 to make it 11-9 for the final session. However Sliema pulled away in the final session after having been brought almost at par 11-11 to win 15-12 and take their first points in the First Division.

Valletta Dhalia had to sweat hard to squeeze a hard fought victory over Otters in their first Second Division game.

The first session was a close affair but Valletta pulled away at the end winning it 5-3.  The second session was also a close affair with Valletat shading it 4-3 to take a three goal lead into the third.

Otters recovered considerably in the third session howeverwinning it 5-2 so it was an all-squarel game for the final session. This ended 3-2 with the top scorers being Munkacsky with four goals for Valletta and Balatoni with six goals for Otters.
