Neptunes defeat San Giljan while Exiles shoot down Sirens

Neptunes showed that they aremoving in the right direction to challenge for the championship. Much more was expected from San Giljan, but it was not meant to be.

Neptunes were already ahead 9-1 by half time. In the third quarter San Giljan had a run of four goals thanks to Edward Aquilina, but it was not enough as they faced Neptunes' Molnar who was in perfect form to net 5 goals.

Neptunes now face Sliema on Saturday in a decisive match that will determine who will take the upper hand as the teams move into the last round of the championship.

On Friday the Sirens kept moving down the standings when they had a shock defeat to Exiles. Last Wednesday Exiles had a shock defeat to San Giljan in the final seconds of the game. With this important victory against Sirens, the race for third place is blown wide open.

Exiles showed their dominance throughout the entire game. The Sirens missed some important chances that could have made a difference in the score line.
