SLIDESHOW | Neptunes clinch 19th title

Neptunes have clinched their 19^th title with a suffered but meritable win in the dying seconds of this seasons final challenge with eternal rivals Sliema.

After last weeks deplorable incidents that followed the Neptunes – San Giljan game, tension was clearly palpable in the air throughut the game. Neptunes knew that a draw with Sliema would have been enough to win the title, but Sliema suffered the pressure of having to win the game at all costs to snatch the title.

The sessions ended 2-1, 1-4, 4-1 and 33, with Sliema’s John Brownrigg being the best scorer.
