Architecture & Design was launched earlier this week, as a quarterly publication, showcasing the very best work in architecture and design and acting as a platform for debate and discussion of the issues that matter to the building industry.

The magazine will devote every issue to specific topics in construction and building details in architecture, interviews and opinion pieces by well-known architects and designers as well as up-and-comers in this industry.

The first issue dives deep into current topics in architecture and interior design.  We sit down with Ray DeMicoli, the architect who left his mark on the face of the country, being the architect behind prominent projects such as the Portomaso and its Laguna, Spinola Park, the Bank of Valletta Chairman’s office in Valletta, the Tipico building, the Ramla Bay Resort Hotel and many more.

We also have a look at ceiling designs for 2021 and how they tend to add an originally finished look to the room.  From statement ceilings to traditional ones, interior ceiling design trends in 2021 are anything but boring! Perit Francesca Scicluna tells us more.

Perit Duncan Muscat digs into the history of an architectural icon, the traditional Maltese balcony, and interior designer Enrica De Gabriele gives us the necessary tips to achieve a cohesive style at home.

There’s more! Find out the innovations in the architecture and design sector as well as the most the most relevant projects by getting your hands on a copy of the magazine.

The publication is directed at architects, interior designers, planners, and architecture and design enthusiasts alike.

Architecture & Design is distributed for free with the MaltaToday or sold separately for Eur2.
