Updated | Proud mother Ira Losco shares first photo of baby Harry

Singer Ira Losco and chef Sean Gravina have welcomed their first son, Harry.

"Our baby Harry was born last night and I am recovering well. Sean was of such support, which was very needed as my delivery wasn't an easy one," Losco said on Facebook.

Both mother and baby are doing well, Gravina earlier confirmed on Facebook.

“What an absolute journey from the beginning till the very end of it. Our baby Harry was born last night and Ira is recovering perfectly, she was great,” the proud daddy told his followers on social media.

“Harry and Ira are both healthy and settled in hospital.”

News of the singer's pregnancy first broke out in May during the run up for this year's Eurovision Song Contest

Gravina also had words of praise for the medical team at Mater Dei Hospital: “Ultimate organisation and extreme timing, Ira's delivery wasn't an easy one and they took care of it so amazingly well.”

Losco’s pregnancy was confirmed on Mother’s Day, as the singer prepared to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, with her entry ‘Walk on Water’.
