Virtu’ Ferries to service Sciacca port
Virtu’ Ferries will be servicing the Sicilian port of Sciacca, Italian media has reported.
The Malta-owned company that operates a number of fast passenger catamarans were reported in the Italian media to have reached an agreement with the Sicilian town’s council to initiate the service this summer.
According to ‘Sicilia Internazionale’ the agreement was reached following talks between the company’s management and Alberto Sabella, Sciacca councillor responsible for economic development.
The agreement is expected to be signed in the coming days.
