Five arrested over suspected cannabis possession

Four men and a woman were arrested following the discovery "of what is thought to be cannabis" - the police said in a statement. The arrest was carried out today, September 17, 2013, at about noon, in Triq tas-Sruġ, Xagħra.

The cannabis leaves were found hidden during a search at a farmhouse in the said street.

The persons arrested are between 18 and 27 years-old and live in San Pawl il-Baħar, Swieqi and Pembroke.
