Two minors caught trying to force door open

Two minors were caught while trying to force the door of a football nursery open today, September 20, 2013, at about 7 a.m., in Triq Kampanella, San Ġwann.

Preliminary investigations found that the minors, who were hooded, were seen struggling with the door by a person in the vicinity, who immediately informed the police of what was going on.

Upon the arrival of two cars from the Rapid Intervention Unit minutes later, the two minors ran off. They were caught in Triq ir-Rand.

Signs of attempts of forced entry were found on the door. A screw driver and two bicycles were also found in the vicinity.
