Seven arrested over drug possession

Seven persons were arrested after drugs were found in Paceville yesterday night.

The police said that the arrested were found to be in possession of ecstasy (MDMA), cocaine and mephedrone (meow meow).

They are aged between 17 and 33-years-old and resident in Birkirkara, Qormi, Paola, Gzira and Marsa.

The drugs were found during yesterday night and the early hours of this morning.

Police investigations are ongoing.

The persons are expected to be charged in the coming days.
