Man in critical condition after falling six feet

A 48-year-old man is in danger of dying after falling six feet, off a scaffolding.

According to the police, the Italian man was carrying out plastering work in Triq il-Parocca, Naxxar.

The incident happened at around 1.30pm.

An ambulance was called on site and he was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital. He was certified to be in critical condition.

A magisterial inquiry is underway.
