Updated | 33-year-old hit by sheets of glass, in danger of dying

Massimo Lapira, 33 of Valletta, suffered grievous injuries after he was curshed underneath sheets of glass.

The incident happened in a factory in Valletta Road, Marsa.

The police said Lapira is in critical codnition. Preliminary investigations revealed that Lapira was helping with the unloading of the glass when the sheets fell on him.

The man was rushed to Mater Dei hospital and was certified to be in critical condition due to the injuries suffered.

Police investigations are underway in order to establish the facts surrounding the case.

Duty Magistrate appointed an inquiry into the case.
