25-year-old woman grievously injured in Coast Road traffic accident

A 25-year-old woman was grievously injured in a head-on crash in Coast Road. The accident happened at 6.10am when a Nissan, driven by the woman, and a Hyundai – driven by a 59-year-old man of St Paul’s Bay – crashed.

An ambulance was called on site that rushed both drivers to Mater Dei Hospital. The woman suffered grievous injuries but is not in danger of dying.
