Hospital management launches internal inquiry into alleged abuse
Police investigating allegations that a young woman was abused on her way to hospital
The management at Mater Dei Hospital has launched an internal inquiry after a young woman came forward alleging she had suffered abuse while on her way to the hospital.
In a brief statement, the office of the hospital’s CEO said that the young lady alleged the incident happened while she was in the ambulance.
The Police authorities have been informed and a separate investigation is underway.
