A 12-year-old boy who was reportedly caught driving a BMW in Hamrun for the second time in two week was once again spotted driving the vehicle this afternoon.

The police said it received a report stating that a young boy behind a black BMW was driving dangerously in Hal-Far.

A police spokesperson explained that police were immediately dispatched, and upon arriving on site discovered the boy sitting in the passenger’s seat.

The police added that a licensed driver accompanied the boy and that there was no concrete proof that the boy had been driving.

In November, police from the Rapid Intervention Unit caught the young boy red-handed while he was behind the wheel in Triq Mile End, Hamrun while a week before, the boy led police on a high speed chase before eventually being caught up in Triq Mountbatten.
