Motorcyclist seriously injured in St Paul’s Bay accident

A 26-year-old man from Imtarfa was seriously hurt on Friday after an accident involving the motorcycle he was riding.

The police said the accident, which took place in Triq Ġnien Borg, limits of St Paul’s Bay, happened when the victim lost control of his Honda CBR and was thrown off it.

An ambulance took the man to Mater Dei Hospital, where it was determined that he had sustained grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.

The accident comes a day after a 21-year-old man lost his life when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a truck in Luqa.
