Only one of the 70 PN candidates and only three from the Labour Party's 84 candidates have answered to a questionnaire by BirdLife Malta about the environment.

On the other hand, all of the nine Alternattiva Demokratika - the Green Party - candidates returned the questionnaires completed.

The candidates were asked by the environment NGO to state their positions on a number of important issues relating to wildlife and the countryside.

"We believe that people have a right to know the positions of their general election candidates on issues which affect the majority of people in Malta and that the candidates have a democratic obligation to answer these questions," BirdLife said in a statement.

We will be speaking out don't you worry WITH OUR VOTE! I for one will not vote for the PN on two counts: 1. for the pact they did with the hunters' lobby 2. For loss of credibility in not keeping their promise! Good thng the PN do not honour their pledges ...at least for that time! THE PN are not to be trusted not by FKNK and neither by BIRD LIFE!
