Updated | Man hospitalised after mechanical shovel topples over

A man was hospitalised after the mechanical shovel he was operating toppled over today, July 30, 2013, at about 6.30 a.m., in Riviera Bay.

The man, 48 of St Paul's Bay, suffered slight injuries.

Preliminary investigations found that the man was using the mechanical shovel to collect waste when it lost its balance and toppled over.
