Spring hunting season should open, Ornis recommends

With two abstentions, three votes in favour and one against, Ornis Committee recommends spring hunting season

The Ornis Committee has recommended the opening of this year’s spring hunting season. With three votes in favour, one against, and two abstentions, Ornis made its recommendation to the government.

The decision comes just a month before the electorate decides whether spring hunting should be abolished. The referendum takes place on 11 April.

The Ornis Committee is the consultative body on hunting regulations. Last year’s spring hunting season opened from the 12 to 30 April, both days included.
