Perici Calascione appointed new FKNK president

The Council of the Federation for Hunting and Conservation – Malta (FKNK) has elected Joe Perici Calascione as the new President for the Association after fourteen years.

He succeeded Joseph Buttigieg, who had been uninterruptedly at the helm of the hunters’ federation since 1996.

An FKNK statement explained that Buttigieg, who had also served in the post of vice-president of the Federation, would now take-up the official post of Public Relations Officer.

Perici Calascione had already served as President between 1993 to 1996, besides holding the posts of Secretary, Administrative Consultant and Public Relations Officer on the Federation’s Council during other terms.

At the last FKNK Council Meeting, all Council Members “thanked Buttigieg for his long-standing inspiring service and augured the very best to Perici Calascione”.
