Number of incidents reported at polling booths, authorities contacted

 SHout notes the positive voting this morning, sadly some incidents were noted at several polling stations across Malta, the statement reads.

According to SHout, incidents were reported in Żabbar, Għargħur, Siġġiewi, Iklin, Santa Venera, San Ġwann and Sliema.

“Individuals were distributing sample ballot sheets showing how the voters should cast their vote while some people were also talking to elderly people and instructing them how to vote,” it said.

SHout added that both the Police Commissioner and the Chief Electoral Commissioner had been informed about these cases.
