The Gozo Channel has announced that one of its ferries, the MV Malita, will be out of service next week due to scheduled repair works, and that it will be operating its morning trips on a shuttle service.

The vessel will be out of service for five days, between Monday 9 and Friday 13 January.

During this period, the Gozo Channel will be operating the morning trips from 5:00am to 7:30am from Mgarr, and from 5:30am to 7:30am from Cirkewwa on a shuttle service so as to minimise waiting time, the company said in a statement.

The Gozo Channel added that a shuttle service will also be provided if there is a demand for it, and that other trips will be performed according to the published schedule.
