Mkhitaryan ‘wants’ to join Manchester United

United, Chelsea and Arsenal interested in Armenian midfielder

Borussia Dortmund’s attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is keen on a move to Manchester United this summer, according to his agent Mino Raiola.

The Armenia international’s future has come under the spotlight in recent weeks after Raiola stated his client was not keen on signing a new deal with Borussia Dortmund.

That speculation has led to talk about Mkhitarayan’s future, with United, Chelsea and Arsenal all heavily linked with him.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly been keeping tabs on the 27-year-old as he looks to bolster his squad this summer and Thomas Tuchel certainly faces a fight to keep him at the Signal Iduna Park.

And Raiola now admitted that Mkhitaryan – who will see his contract expire in the summer of 2017 – would consider a move to Old Trafford this summer.

“Man Utd is a unique opportunity, Micki wants to go there,” Raiola told reporters.

Mkhitaryan joined Dortmund back in 2013 from Shakhtar Donetsk and has excelled at the club, particularly this season under the stewardship of Tuchel.

He registered an impressive 15 assists – more than any other player in the Bundesliga – and scored 11 goals in 31 matches.
