Who will win the Champions League 2023/24 prediction?

The Champions League is soon approaching, and predictions for the newest winner are well underway

It was only last June that Manchester City became Champions League winners for the first time. But many fans are already asking themselves whether City can defend the title. The English had to discover for themselves how difficult it is to win this league. When the best teams in Europe face each other on the pitch, predictions are difficult. That's why a look at the odds for the Champions League winner in 2024 is often helpful, especially with the help of Feedinco football predictions.

Manchester City – Will they be able to defend their title?

On June 10 this year, Manchester City won their first Champions League title. But they also won the FA Cup and the championship in the Premier League. With the Treble, coach Pep Guardiola made himself immortal with the Sky Blues.

In the summer, City suffered some painful departures with Gündogan, Laporte, Mahrez, Palmer and Cancelo. However, the City's new additions are once again more than impressive. With Josko Gvardiol, the Sky Blues secured one of the most exciting defenders in world football.

And the additions of Doku, Kovacic and Nunes also help the team directly. The goal this season for coach Pep Guardiola's team will once again be to win the pot. In the group phase, the Sky Blues travel to Leipzig, Bern and Belgrade and are favorites in Group G.

Real Madrid – With Bellingham to the title?

Real Madrid was the absolute leader in the Champions League for many years. The Royals lived up to their name and brought the trophy to the Spanish capital five times between 2014 and 2022. And last year, Real again presented themselves as a threat on the biggest European stage.

The extremely experienced team showed their routine in every round and again made it to the semi-finals of the premier class. But Manchester City waited and ultimately prevailed.

In the new season, Real will have to do without Karim Benzema, who moved to Saudi Arabia. In midfield, however, the Spanish record champions can continue to rely on the services of the two midfield players, Luka Modric and Toni Kross. And the transfer from the royal team also seems to have hit the right spot. Jude Bellingham is already loving La Liga and wants to impress on the European stage with Real.

Bayern Munich – Back on the throne in Europe too?

The past season was marked by a lot of ups and downs for the record champions, especially in the Bundesliga. In the premier class, however, things were absolutely outstanding for a long time. FCB won every game in the group stage and only conceded one goal. Bayern didn't have an easy group by any means and prevailed against Barcelona, Inter Milan and Viktoria Plzeň.

In the round of 16, FCB easily beat the top team PSG. In the next round, ex-coach Pep Guardiola waited for the Munich team and put the record champions in their place. In the coming season, Thomas Tuchel wants to lead his new team back to the top of Europe.

Who will be the winner of the Champions League in 2024?

It took a full 15 years since it was taken over by an investment company from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for Manchester City to win the Champions League. With the 1-0 win over Inter Milan, the Skyblues have finally reached Europe's football throne. And the star ensemble from England wants to make themselves comfortable there.

That's why City coach Pep Guardiola immediately issued a declaration of war during the celebration of the title: “There are teams that won the Champions League and disappeared after one or two seasons. This is what we must avoid. Anyone who knows me knows that won’t happen.”

With obvious irony, the Catalan followed up in the direction of the record winner: “We are just 13 Champions Leagues away from Real Madrid, just 13. So be careful Real Madrid because we are on our way. If you sleep a little bit, we will catch you. We cannot compare. Now we have the first.”

Pep Guardiola's official declaration can be viewed here.
