Lufthansa to increase daily Frankfurt route to three flights

German airline Lufthansa has announced that it will be adding at third daily flight to its Frankfurt route for the summer period.

Starting on 1 May until 28 October, the new scheduled flight will depart from Malta at 6:30am and arrive in Frankfurt at 9:10am. The new late inbound flight departs from Germany at 8:20pm with arrival in Malta at 10:50pm.

According to Lufthansa, the early departure optimises travel time for passengers who wish to reach an onward destination early while the late departure time from Frankfurt is an ideal timing for those who wish to travel after work.

“Thanks to this additional flight Malta can enjoy the extensive intercontinental network in Frankfurt, including in particular the several connections to and from North America (like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami),” senior director of sales Steffen Weinstok added.
