No one injured as car catches fire in Sliema

Car catches fire near Mrabat Street, Sliema at around 3:15pm, police say they have no reason to suspect arson

A car caught fire in Sliema earlier this afternoon, but nobody suffered any injuries as a result. The car, a Volkswagen Polo, was driving up the hill towards Mrabat Street at around 3:15pm when the incident happened.

A police spokesperson told MaltaToday that they have no reason to suspect arson, and could not instantly disclose details of the person behind the wheel of the car.
