An online video by the 'freewalking' UK group Storror showcasing the beauty of Maltese islands has been making the online rounds, in another example of a growing trend of independently-produced montages which show off the natural beauty of the archipelago.

Freewalking (also known as Parkour) is a physical discipline of movement focused on overcoming obstacles, for the purpose of getting from point A to point B in diverse environments in the fastest and most efficient way possible.

Malta Cliff Diving 2012 follows on the heels of its counterpart last year - a debut Malta video by the group which also went viral after its release, bringing a dormant sense of patriotism to the fore in even the most jaded Maltese social media users.

The video was accompanied by an eight-day diary blog of the group's second experience in Malta, in which they peppered the account of their journey with comments about their 'shoddy' hotel breakfast and other choice adjectives about their hotel of choice.
