Woman dies after facing difficulties while swimming

A 70-year-old woman died yesterday afternoon after facing some difficulties while swimming in Qawra.

The woman from Hamrun was brought to shore by people who were on site and was taken to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance, where she was certified to be in a critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
