Updated | Man dies in Luqa traffic accident

A 55-year-old man lost his life after being involved in a traffic accident in Triq l-Imgieret, Luqa this afternoon.

The police said the man was involved in a collision between a Jaguar X-Type SD driven by a 19-year-old man from Hamrun and a Mitsubishi Strada driven by the victim.

Upon the collision the victim's car overturned and landed on its roof. The man was certified dead on site by a medical team from Mater Dei hospital.
