Woman suffers life threatening injuries in fall

A woman was critically injured in an unfortunate accident at her residence today at about 5am in Triq Giorgio Mitrovich, Pembroke.

Preliminary investigations found that the woman, 46, fell down four steps and hit her head on the floor.

She was conveyed by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital, where she was found to be in danger of loss of life.
