Man jailed for six months over forged documents

Court jails young migrant in whose possession police found forged identity documents

Abdirahman Suleiman, 23 of Liberia, was today jailed for six months, after pleading guilty to being in possession of forged Italian documents.

Prosecuting inspector Darren Buhagiar told the court how Suleiman, who resides at Hal Far Open Centre, was found in possession of an Italian residence permit and ant Italian Identity card, both of which were forged.

Suleiman admitted to the charges brought against him, and the Court, on his admission found the defendant guilty of the charges.

Magistrate Doreen Clarke condemned the young Liberian national to six months imprisonment.
