Rabat youth grieviously injured in St Julian’s accident

An 18-year-old youth from Rabat was grieviously injured early Sunday morning after being run over by a car in St Geroge’s Street, St Julian’s.

Police said they were called to the scene at around 3.15am. The youth was run over by a BMW 320D, driven in the irection of Paceville by a 36-year-old man from Birkirkara.

An ambulance took the 18-year-old to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are continuing.
