Approximately 1,300 complimentary tickets for the summer concerts featuring Robbie Williams and Andre Rieu at the Granaries were handed out for free.

The information was tabled in parliament by Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo, in reply to a parliamentary question by Nationalist MP Mark Anthony Sammut.

Bartolo stated that the organizers distributed 600 complimentary tickets for the Robbie Williams concert on 24 August and 700 free tickets for the André Rieu concerts on 1 and 2 September.

The figure was presented in the second parliamentary question asked to the minister, after he answered the first by simply saying tickets are disseminated by organisers among stakeholders and entities.

Thousands attended the concerts at the Granaries which were held just months apart.
