Simon Busuttil on present political climate

In an interview appearing in tomorrow’s edition of MaltaToday, Nationalist MEP, Simon Busuttil talks about the local political landscape in the aftermath of a no-confidence motion presented by the opposition which failed to topple the government but which exposed the reality that the government lacks a majority due to Debono's abstention.

Busuttil also talks about whether Lawrence Gonzi should call an early election or not.

His name is associated with the optimism generated by Malta's EU membership bid. He talks about Europe's chances of surviving its greatest crisis since World War II.
