Students at Junior College were today asked to evacuate the building as authorities searched the building for the alleged bomb.
Members of the Civil Protection Department and personnel from the AFM bomb squad are carrying out the search.
After a thorough search of the premises, members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal confirmed that no suspicious object was found.
While the majority of the students chose to go home due to the suspended lectures, others are dispersed along the streets or visited nearby bars.
The bomb threat call was made a little before noon.
