Maltese in the running to pick up the Nobel Peace Prize
Maltese national, Larkin Zahra chosen out of 2,354 participants and in with chance to receive Nobel Prize on behalf of EU.
Italy is currently beating Malta. No, this article is not about a football game but about a EU contest organised for all European youth.
Larkin Zahra has been chosen out of 2,354 participants from all around Europe where the participants had to explain what does peace in Europe mean to them.
The winner of this competition will get to travel to Oslo and receive the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the EU and all the European citizens.
Larkin is currently in second place with a couple of hundred of votes separating him from the first place.
Voting ends at midnight tonight, meaning any possible efforts to have Malta represented in this prestigious Nobel Prize ceremony has to be done today.
