New Transport Malta board approved

James Piscopo is Transport Malta’s Executive Chairman given his role as the authority’s CEO and the board’s chairman.

The new Transport Malta board has been approved, confirming former PL CEO James Piscopo as chairman of the board. Given his role as the authority's CEO, Piscopo is Transport Malta's Executive Chairman.

Deputy chairman to the board is Christopher Cachia.

Nine other members have been appointed to the board, including Carmen Pullicino Orlando - the wife of former PN MP Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando.

The rest of the board members are Alan Brown, Annette Farrugia, Deborah Mercieca, Paul Muscat, Charles Pace, Mark Sammut, Vanessa Vella and Alison Zerafa Civelli.
