Clyde Puli rules out White Rocks golf course… but Marsa’s set to grow

Parliamentary Secretary for sports Clyde Puli says no golf course will be constructed at the White Rocks sports village.

What will happen instead, as confirmed by Puli himself, is an extension of the Marsa golf course in what seems to be a compromise solution between supporters of a new course on the island.

Years of controversy on golf courses and their requirements for land and water seem not to have been pacified by the news of a new ‘sports village’ in the White Rocks Area.

Instead it will be the Marsa golfers that will get a new piece of land, at Ghammieri, for the extension of their golf course.
