Labour MEP made hunters' life honorary president for 'services to hunting'

The hunters' federation's secretary Lino Farrgugia said Attard Montalto had worked to safeguard "Maltese, socio-cultural traditions" and was particularly active within the European Parliament. Attard Montalto is also a member of an MEP's inter-group that supports hunting and trapping inside the EP.

Attard-Montalto said he promised "continuous support to the benefit of Maltese and Gozitan hunters and trappers."
